About The Position

Givaudan is hiring an Applications Technologist in East Hanover, New Jersey. Reporting to the Applications Lab Team Lead, the role uses sensory skills to uphold quality standards and help improve the aesthetic and physicochemical perception of consumer products, including shampoos, shower gels, detergents, and softeners. The position supports the creation and evaluation of fragrance applications for consumer products.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a hard science.

Nice To Haves

One year of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare fragrance samples by applying internally developed fragrances and technologies, and introduce fragrance into product bases for evaluation.
Maintain clear communication with Creative Fragrance Managers, Perfumers, and Sales regarding project status and sample requests.
Work with Creative Fragrance Managers to ensure internal and customer samples meet specifications and are prepared on time.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date manual and electronic laboratory records.
