About The Position

We are seeking an Applications Developer to support mission-focused work through full-stack software development, design, and operations and maintenance (O&M). The role delivers scalable, secure, custom web applications and services supporting complex visual, media, or business data products. The position is full-time and on-site in McLean, Virginia, and requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance. The proposed salary range is $210,000–$250,000. There are two openings, with submissions due October 23, 2026.

Requirements

• Experience supporting frontend and backend application development for producer experience and complex visual products.
• Git and GitHub version control.
• HTML5/CSS3, Hugo or static site generators, and SASS.
• JavaScript, Angular, Vue, React, and Node.js.
• TypeScript, Webpack, Lerna, or Electron.
• AWS infrastructure and automation, including CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, and ELB.
• Express.js, Koa.js, or NGINX.
• RDS, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance.
• Must work on-site in McLean, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain frontend user interfaces and backend microservices or APIs.
• Develop and automate cloud-native infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment environments.
• Decompose functional requirements into technical specifications, tasks, and user stories.
• Ensure high code quality, accessibility, security compliance, and performance optimization.
• Provide frontend and backend application development support for producer experience and complex visual products.
• Perform software design and operations and maintenance (O&M).
