About The Position

We are seeking a UI/UX Developer to support mission-focused work. The role shapes the visual design, interactive architecture, and user experience of software applications through human-centered research, prototyping, and modern frontend implementation. An active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required. This is a full-time, on-site position in Chantilly, Virginia, with a proposed salary range of $190,000–$220,000. Salary is determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific budget considerations.

Requirements

Experience or skills in user research.
Experience or skills in wireframing.
Experience or skills with design tools.
Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience with front-end technologies such as React and Next.js.
Knowledge of color theory and grid systems.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.
Must work on-site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Nice To Haves

Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and ARIA.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Experience with animation and micro-interaction design.
Experience with usability testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow mapping to translate stakeholder needs into intuitive designs.
Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, design systems, and component libraries.
Implement responsive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces across web and digital applications.
Partner closely with product managers and engineers to align design vision with technical execution.
