About The Position

The Platform Engineer builds and sustains the cloud platform, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps tools needed to securely deploy and maintain enterprise application software. The role supports mission-focused work and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). The position is full-time and on-site in Chantilly, Virginia, with a proposed salary range of $210,000–$250,000. Salary is determined by factors including location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific budget considerations.

Requirements

• Experience or skills in Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience or skills in DevSecOps.
• Experience or skills in Terraform.
• Experience or skills in Ansible and Puppet.
• Red Hat Linux administration skills.
• Container management skills.
• CI/CD pipeline skills.
• AWS IAM skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Must work on-site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or AWS.
• Experience working with large-scale cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
• Maintain system security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance across Linux and cloud environments.
• Optimize container management, cluster orchestration, and platform cost-efficiency.
• Partner with development teams to enhance build pipelines and streamline software release lifecycles.
