About The Position

We are seeking a Palantir Platform Engineer to support mission-focused work by customizing and integrating enterprise data workflows, ontology structures, and analytics tools within the Palantir ecosystem. The role focuses on accelerating data conditioning and observability and requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). The position is full-time and on-site in Herndon, Virginia.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance.
• Palantir Foundry experience.
• Ontology and data ontology experience.
• Experience building and integrating ETL pipelines.
• PySpark and Python skills.
• Experience with logging and monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with AI-augmented data pipelines.
• Experience validating data products.
• Must work on-site in Herndon, Virginia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience connecting ETL conditioners to Palantir tooling.
• Experience increasing observability and accelerating data conditioning.
• Experience providing end-to-end insight into data transformations.
• Experience integrating validated products into analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, connect, and optimize custom ETL workflows and conditioners within Palantir Foundry.
• Design and refine data ontologies and data structures to represent complex domain relationships.
• Use AI and automation to improve data pipeline speed, quality validation, and governance.
• Ensure end-to-end visibility into data transformations and integrate conditioned datasets into downstream analytics tools.
