About The Position

Global Functions Technology (GFT) is seeking a motivated Production Support Analyst to coordinate production support activities for major systems and related subsystems. This role ensures the integrity of computer-generated data by applying comprehensive knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments. GFT is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division, collaborating with partners across the company to deliver innovative IT solutions for clients in Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management, while also leading the development of digital tools and platforms.

Requirements

Experience with the incident and problem management lifecycles
Experience with SQL & Unix environments

Nice To Haves

ITIL Framework
Experience with monitoring and logging technologies such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK, Splunk, etc.
IT Systems Operations Experience
Working experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT Service Management toolsets

Responsibilities

Monitor and investigate JCL Batch job executions, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolutions to maintain smooth operations.
Ensure the documentation and tracking of all shift turnover issues.
Contribute to job scheduling and report distribution, as well as data center standards development and enforcement.
Monitor the library to ensure the proper generation of data files are available for production runs and track resolution.
