About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Generative AI Developer for a contract position supporting a global financial institution in Pennington, New Jersey; Jersey City, New Jersey; or Charlotte, North Carolina. The opportunity is for 12+ months. The role designs, develops, and implements a new Generative AI platform and related business use cases, and develops architectural approaches for integrating AI software and hardware. The developer works with business and IT stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver solutions aligned with business priorities, while emphasizing quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability. The position also involves establishing software development and automation standards, mentoring team members, testing platform performance and scalability, implementing hardware upgrades and software enhancements, addressing regional and regulatory infrastructure requirements, and researching new approaches to improve platform and team capabilities. The developer monitors developments in AI, machine learning, and data science to support ongoing innovation. The stated pay range is $55.07–$63.07 per hour. Requirements

7+ years of experience with Python.
1+ year of experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
Extensive experience designing and implementing multi-tier application platforms, including microservices.
Ability to plan and lead delivery by functionally diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
A consistent record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
High proficiency in Python and Unix scripting.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Experience processing large structured and unstructured datasets.
Knowledge of front-end languages, libraries, and frameworks such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, React, and jQuery.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Availability and readiness to work directly as a Genesis10 employee.

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing data analytics or AI solutions.
Knowledge of machine-learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, LLM fine-tuning, and tools for agentic solutions.
Experience with FastAPI.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and oversee end-to-end implementation of the new Generative AI platform and related business use cases.
Develop architectural approaches for AI software and hardware integration, emphasizing quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and fulfill business needs and objectives.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams in delivering technical solutions aligned with business priorities and expectations.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.
Establish standards and lead automation efforts to improve end-to-end SDLC efficiency.
Mentor team members in technical design and development best practices.
Drive platform performance, scalability, and resiliency testing.
Implement hardware upgrades and software enhancements to meet global performance expectations.
Address regulatory and performance-driven requirements for regional and local infrastructure and platform needs.
Conduct research and prototyping to evaluate and identify solutions that enhance platform and team capabilities.
Monitor AI industry trends and developments in AI, machine learning, and data science to continuously innovate and improve solutions.
