About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a hybrid role (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role focuses on front-office applications, quantitative research, and full-stack development within the financial services sector, specifically Global Markets. The developer will work with Python, REST, and ReactJS, and interact with both Object and Relational Databases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, with necessary Python experience
• 7+ years of experience as a senior developer on front-office applications in banking services
• 7+ years of experience in quantitative research and development, with the ability to handle domain-specific data analysis
• 7+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or full-stack development
• Experience with Object and Relational Databases

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Fixed Income products
• 5+ years of experience in risk and pricing application development
• Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets
• Subject matter expertise working on the Quartz platform

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-office applications for banking services
• Engage in full-stack development using Python, REST, and ReactJS
• Conduct quantitative research and domain-specific data analysis
• Work with both Object and Relational Databases
