About The Position

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Application Development Advisor for the St. Louis, MO location to contribute to day-to-day operations, end-user support, and project initiatives across the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. This role involves partnering with functional teams to solve complex business issues and design scalable system solutions. The advisor will manage operations and end-user support of the Hyperion EPM 11x platform, including Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), planning, Essbase, Essbase Studio, Optical Data Interface (ODI), and the creation of financial reports. They will also modify/tune existing batch scripts, Visual Basic (VB) scripts, business rules, and Essbase Calc Scripts, and analyze and adjust Hyperion system performance as required. The position requires participation in the creation of standard operational policies and procedures, proactive monitoring and streamlining of tasks, and execution of system testing, data validations, and stress testing of new enhancements/features. Troubleshooting integration and data issues across various Hyperion applications and boundary systems is also a key responsibility. The advisor will work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to formulate business requirements and ensure service delivery meets business objectives. Coordination of operational handover with global support teams and ensuring smooth month-end close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with finance and IT business partners are also critical aspects of this role. The role operates on a Hybrid Work Schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role.

Responsibilities
