About The Position

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Application Development Advisor for the St. Louis, MO location to contribute to day-to-day operations, end-user support, and project initiatives across the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role.
  • Software development experience.
  • Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) experience with SAAS and On-Premise applications, including Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Essbase Marketplace experience.
  • Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) experience.
  • Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) experience.
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience.
  • Essbase experience.
  • Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) experience.
  • Process Control Management (PCM) experience.
  • If working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional teams to solve complex business issues and design scalable system solutions.
  • Manage operations and end-user support of the Hyperion EPM 11x platform, including Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), planning, Essbase, Essbase Studio, Optical Data Interface (ODI), and creation of financial reports.
  • Modify/tune existing batch scripts, Visual Basic (VB) scripts, business rules, and Essbase Calc Scripts.
  • Analyze and adjust Hyperion system performance as required.
  • Participate in creation of standard operational policies and procedures and proactively monitor and streamline tasks.
  • Execute system testing, data validations, and stress testing of new enhancements/features and troubleshoot integration and data issues across various Hyperion applications and boundary systems.
  • Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to formulate business requirements and ensure service delivery meets business objectives.
  • Coordinate operational handover with global support teams.
  • Ensure smooth month-end close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with finance and IT business partners.
