About The Position

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Application Development Advisor for the St. Louis, MO location to contribute to day-to-day operations, end-user support, and project initiatives across the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. This role involves partnering with functional teams to solve complex business issues and design scalable system solutions, managing the operations and end-user support of the Hyperion EPM 11x platform, and ensuring smooth month-end close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with finance and IT business partners. The position also requires working interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to formulate business requirements and ensure service delivery meets business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role.
  • Experience with Software development
  • Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) experience with SAAS and On-Premise applications, including Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Essbase Marketplace
  • Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM)
  • Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Essbase
  • Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE)
  • Process Control Management (PCM)
  • If working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional teams to solve complex business issues and design scalable system solutions.
  • Manage operations and end-user support of the Hyperion EPM 11x platform, including FDM, planning, Essbase, Essbase Studio, ODI, and creation of financial reports.
  • Modify/tune existing batch scripts, VB scripts, business rules, and Essbase Calc Scripts.
  • Analyze and adjust Hyperion system performance as required.
  • Participate in creation of standard operational policies and procedures and proactively monitor and streamline tasks.
  • Execute system testing, data validations, and stress testing of new enhancements/features and troubleshoot integration and data issues across various Hyperion applications and boundary systems.
  • Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to formulate business requirements and ensure service delivery meets business objectives.
  • Coordinate operational handover with global support teams.
  • Ensure smooth month-end close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with finance and IT business partners.
