About The Position

CSC ServiceWorks is hiring an Appliance Install Driver to deliver and install laundry equipment throughout an assigned service area. The role involves visiting customer homes and client locations, interacting with customers and clients, and working with laundry equipment and related technology. The position runs Monday through Friday and includes year-round work and paid training.

The installer drives a box truck to deliver, pick up, repair, or replace washers, dryers, and air machines; prepares equipment and required parts for delivery; and installs ancillary technology such as card readers and digital enhancements. The role also includes showing customers and clients how to operate equipment safely and effectively. Work is physically active and requires loading and unloading equipment, using a two-wheeled hand cart for support, ease, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Mechanical and maintenance experience or knowledge.
• Experience driving box trucks.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds in a variety of environmental conditions, including weather-related and non-weather-related conditions.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, squat, and bend for periods of time.
• Knowledge of computers and smartphone technology.
• Troubleshooting ability.
• Customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• DOT certification.
• One year of job-related delivery and installation experience; training is provided.
• Route driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install laundry equipment at customer homes and client locations.
• Deliver and install ancillary technology, including card readers and digital enhancements.
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, repair, or replace washers, dryers, and air machines.
• Prepare equipment for delivery by assembling required parts before loading trucks.
• Instruct customers and clients in the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Load and unload the company truck, using a two-wheeled hand cart for support, ease, and safety.
