Appliance Delivery Installer (AW)
About The Position
As a CSC Appliance Install Driver, you will deliver and install laundry equipment and related technology at customer homes and client locations throughout your assigned service area. The role involves driving a box truck to deliver, pick up, repair, or replace washers, dryers, and air machines; preparing equipment and assembling parts before loading; and showing customers and clients how to operate equipment safely and effectively. The work is physically active and includes loading and unloading the truck with a two-wheeled hand cart. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Paid training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
- Mechanical and maintenance experience or knowledge.
- Experience driving box trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds in a variety of environmental conditions.
- Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, squat, and bend for periods of time.
- Knowledge of computers and smartphone technology.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- DOT certification.
- One year of job-related delivery and installation experience; training is provided.
- Route driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install laundry equipment at customer homes and client locations.
- Deliver and install ancillary technology, including card readers and digital enhancements.
- Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, repair, or replace washers, dryers, and air machines.
- Prepare equipment for delivery by assembling required parts before loading trucks.
- Instruct customers and clients on safe and effective equipment operation.
- Load and unload the company truck, using a two-wheeled hand cart for support, ease, and safety.
