About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a part-time Apparel Processor in Brook Park, Ohio, at an hourly pay rate of $13.40. The role helps keep stores stocked by processing donated apparel and domestics for soft-line departments. The processor sorts, hangs, and tags items while meeting agency quality standards and production targets, and upholds customer service standards when interacting with customers and donors.

Requirements

• Good people skills.
• Ability to identify different shades and tones of color.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay knowledgeable about brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
• Sort apparel into salable and salvage categories.
• Check items for tears, stains, wetness, odor, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons; items must be flaw-free.
• Hang and tag quality donations promptly according to agency standards while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
• Keep the processing area neat and clean and leave the station ready for the next shift.
• Embody DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
• Follow agency safety policies and guidelines.
• Participate with the supervisor and team members in addressing identified safety concerns.
• Greet and thank customers and donors according to agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
