About The Position
The Apparel Hanger supports Goodwill’s retail operations and community programs by hanging and preparing clothing for sale. The role involves meeting daily production quotas, organizing garments with the store’s color tag system, and keeping sales-floor displays neat. The employee also helps with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering as needed and follows procedures to maintain a clean and safe workplace. No prior experience is needed; the position calls for reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

- Able to stand for most of the work time and use hands and reach above and below the shoulders.
- Able to pull, twist, and turn often, and occasionally talk, walk, push, bend, and stoop.
- Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong close and depth vision.
Responsibilities
- Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
- Group and rotate clothing correctly using the color tag system.
- Move clothing to and from the sales floor while keeping displays neat and organized.
- Accurately count and report items processed each day.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following store procedures.
- Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
- Assist with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering as needed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.
