About The Position

As a member of the Apparel team, the Sorter/Hanger obtains general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing, determines the quality and value of items for sale, checks items for imperfections, prices, sizes, and tags apparel and linens according to type, and hangs salable goods on racks. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 40 pounds with no support regularly.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing.
• Determine the quality and value of items to be sold in the store.
• Check items for imperfections as part of quality assurance.
• Price, size, and tag apparel and linens according to type.
• Hang salable goods on racks.
