APP (NP/PA) - Emergency Department
About The Position
Join a premier Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our high-acuity Emergency Medicine team. As an APP at Lahey, you aren't just a provider; you are a critical part of a fast-paced, collaborative team. You will manage high-complexity cases, perform medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretations. You will also engage in various EM procedures in a supportive, physician-led environment. Benefit from diverse clinical exposure by floating between our Burlington (Academic/Level I Trauma) and Peabody (Community-based) Emergency Departments. This is a full-time position requiring a rotation of nights and weekends to ensure 24/7 patient care excellence. Lahey's Emergency Departments handle over 62,000 annual patient visits in a 360-bed Academic Medical Center environment known for treating complex cases. You will work alongside a robust team of 34+ Physicians and APPs, plus a full nursing and tech support staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s in Nursing (NP) or PA program
- Valid Massachusetts NP/PA License and Board Certification
- Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR)
- Previous EM or Urgent Care experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
