About The Position
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurosurgery, is seeking a California licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position serves to support our inpatient neurosurgery services, outpatient clinics, and includes rotating regional assignments. We are a busy practice with 15 Neurosurgeons with a full range of subspecialties, clinics in multiple locations, and a thriving residency program. Loma Linda, recognized as the only Blue Zone in the nation, is a family-friendly community known for its strong sense of community and commitment to health and wellness. Loma Linda University is located in Southern California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beaches, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This growing region has a low cost of living and excellent private and public school systems. Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs.
Requirements
- California licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- One or more years of Neurosurgery, spinal surgery or related work experience
- Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients within their scope of practice
- California residency is required upon start date
