About The Position

Monarch is hiring a full-time, year-round Apartment Maintenance Technician for Stonehenge Gates Apartments in Flint Township, Michigan. This is an onsite role focused on maintaining and repairing the apartment community. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position pays $20.00 per hour, offers yearly raises of up to 5%, and has overtime potential. On-call duties are compensated with a $100 weekly bonus when on call, at least 1.5 hours of pay for each call, and an additional $50 bonus for each major holiday worked while on call. Requirements

At least 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent; the employer states that training may be provided.
Knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry.
Knowledge of plumbing.
Knowledge of electrical systems, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Ability to repair or diagnose appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform apartment maintenance and repairs, including drywall, painting, and carpentry work.
Diagnose and repair plumbing and electrical issues, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Repair or diagnose appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
Participate in on-call coverage and respond to maintenance calls.
