About The Position

Legend Property Group, a subsidiary of The Monument Companies, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to service its apartment units. The role focuses on keeping residents’ apartments safe, comfortable, and in good repair by performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks, responding to tenant requests, inspecting interior and exterior areas, and preparing units for re-leasing. The position offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus participation in an on-call rotation every fifth or sixth week. The stated wage is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience or relevant education or training.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and work from varying heights.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Maintenance-related certifications, especially HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform general apartment and home maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical systems.
• Complete painting, grounds care, and pool maintenance.
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and provide updates about scheduling and work status.
• Provide exceptional customer service while completing maintenance work.
• Inspect interior and exterior areas for safety, cleanliness, and needed repairs.
• Prepare apartment units for re-leasing, including cleaning and painting.
