Apartment Community Groundskeeper
About The Position
Legacy Partners is a privately held real estate firm that owns, develops, and manages multifamily communities. The Apartment Community Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping the property's landscaping healthy and attractive and maintaining exterior areas in a clean, litter-free condition. This is an on-site, full-time position reporting to the Business Manager, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule. The role includes daily grounds maintenance, landscaping and watering, exterior upkeep, pool and spa care, and supporting apartment turnovers. The employee may also perform other reasonably related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management. The job description does not constitute a written or implied employment contract.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the property each morning and remove litter.
- Clean entryways, stairwells, sidewalks, and parking areas using a backpack blower.
- Clear leaves, debris, and cobwebs from building corners and recesses.
- Maintain dumpster areas and remove trash as needed.
- Water landscaping daily during summer months and assist with general outdoor upkeep.
- Assist with exterior painting, repairs, and touch-ups to maintain curb appeal and property condition.
- Perform routine maintenance on pool, Jacuzzi, and spa areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Support apartment turnover tasks, including interior cleaning and painting, to prepare units for new residents.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and management.
