About The Position

The AP Vendor Master Data Clerk maintains the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of vendor master data across Pipe & Tube systems. The role supports vendor onboarding and record maintenance, regulatory reporting, and Accounts Payable operations while adhering to company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. It also provides backup support for Accounts Payable, Concur, and Bank of America administrator responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Experience in Accounts Payable, vendor master data management, or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain vendor master records in Pipe & Tube systems.
Process vendor additions, updates, and changes in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
Ensure vendor documentation is properly approved, retained, and audit-ready.
Maintain consistency of shared vendor records across systems, including payment terms and payment methods.
Review inactive vendors and block or flag vendors for deletion when they have been unused for two years.
Support annual 1099 and 1042 reporting processes for all Pipe & Tube entities.
Provide backup support for Accounts Payable during vacations and peak workload periods.
Provide backup support for Concur and Bank of America administrator responsibilities as needed.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
