About The Position

The AP & Logistics Analyst supports the organization by working with third party carriers daily and ensuring sales orders, tickets and any other related items are in order. This position will play a key role in ensuring the Last Mile team provides all necessary analytics to our Operations and Financial teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a data entry focused role;
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on ability to generate information from spreadsheets; a strong affinity for attention to detail is a must;
  • Ability to multi-task and independently problem solve striving towards continuous improvement;
  • Ability to take raw data and refine that into useful and accurate information by which business decisions can be made;
  • A high performer who is strongly motivated to meet deadlines;
  • Must excel in a team-oriented environment;
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel;
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines with strong organization skills;
  • Ability to learn, adapt to change and be flexible in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous exposure/experience to creating sales orders an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication both orally and written with the ability to build relationships;

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including those from internal stakeholders from all business units, and external stakeholders including interfacing with Source’s carriers on a daily basis;
  • Ensure carrier invoices are appropriately matched to Purchase Orders;
  • Create sales orders for billable charges;
  • Interface with internal Dispatch system (Rook);
  • Analyzing additional trucking charges including standby, top ups, daily mins;
  • Managing month end accruals;
  • Understand rail and trucking logistics from our mines in Wisconsin and remote Field Solutions well sites in Western Canada;
  • Other applicable duties as assigned or ad hoc duties required.
