About The Position

Pocket.watch is seeking an enthusiastic, versatile, and detail-oriented Animation Production Coordinator to join its creative team. The coordinator organizes assets for animators, creates schedules, tracks expenses, and works with traditional and AI-driven animation workflows. The role collaborates with artists, directors, and producers to create visuals from concept through render, and supports production across multiple shows. The position is temporary and remote.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as an assistant or coordinator on animated projects, in 2D, CG, or AI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for layout and composition.
• Ability to improvise and adapt to shifting project goals.
• Solid organizational skills, including adherence to file structures, naming conventions, and established protocols.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and perform in a fast-paced production environment.
• Close visual acuity to perform the primary responsibilities.
• Good physical dexterity and ability to constantly operate a computer and mouse.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GenAI image tools such as Nano Banana and GenAI video tools such as Seedance and Kling.
• Experience using Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with artists, directors, and producers to create visuals from concept to render.
• Assign and track shot assignments across multiple shows.
• Track and process budget expenditures, ensuring videos are completed on time and under budget.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for cast and crew, managing and tracking their needs and availability.
• Compile, distribute, and track production documents.
• Source materials and create preliminary budgets.
• Use AI and agentic workflows to identify production efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
