Animation Assistant
About The Position
Naughty Dog is seeking an eager Animation Assistant to support the animation team on a complex AAA game project. The role helps remove steps and obstacles from the animation process so the team can focus on maintaining high visual quality. This is a temporary engagement through staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions, based at the studio in Santa Monica, California, in a hybrid / onsite arrangement. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Applicants may be asked to complete an art test and must provide a demo reel or examples of work, preferably online, with a detailed breakdown of their contributions to each project and an accompanying resume.
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the pipeline.
- Some experience with Maya or equivalent 3D animation software.
- Organized and methodical approach to work.
- Proactive communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Trustworthy and dependable, with a positive “can do” attitude.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Provide a demo reel or examples of work, preferably online, with a detailed breakdown of contributions to each project and an accompanying resume.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Production experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare scenes and assets for animation and audio teams.
- Work closely with animators to ensure standards of quality are met.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
