About The Position

The Angel Tree Worker assists in maintaining the Christmas Warehouse in a clean, neat, inviting, and orderly manner. The role places and arranges items as directed and provides information and answers questions about the Christmas Warehouse setup and Angel Tree gift distribution process. This is a seasonal full-time position in the Dallas, Texas warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Ability to undertake frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting.
• Ability to frequently lift, move, and carry heavy objects weighing more than 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with janitorial and general cleanup at the Christmas warehouse or an assigned location as needed.
• Assist at Area Command Christmas warehouse locations during Christmas Angel Tree distribution as requested.
• Set up trees, tables, and stands for Christmas displays and disassemble them at the end of the Christmas season.
• Lift and carry items to appropriate destinations for processing, storage, or disposal.
• Keep warehouse areas neat and orderly; clean floors, tables, and work areas.
• Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and help maintain a clean, inviting store.
• Place and arrange items in the warehouse as directed.
• Provide information and answer questions about the Christmas Warehouse setup and Angel Tree gift distribution process.
