About The Position

This position is responsible for operating within a Christmas center, involving the lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of various donations such as furniture, appliances, and clothing. The role focuses on promoting warehouse safety and security, assisting with warehouse cleanup, layout, and setup, and potentially aiding with pickups from malls or corporations.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Cleans and services assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Sweeps and/or mops assigned areas as needed.
• Works to promote the safety and security of the warehouse.
• Assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse.
• Assists with possible pick up from the malls or corporations, if necessary.
