About The Position

The Angel Tree Warehouse Worker works in the Christmas center, handling and organizing donations that may include furniture, appliances, and clothing. The role supports warehouse safety and security, helps clean and set up the warehouse, and may assist with pickups from malls or corporations when necessary. This is a seasonal, short-term position scheduled for 40 hours per week, with varying hours, from November 16, 2026, through December 23, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, and standing, and some climbing.

Responsibilities

• Lift and stack donations in the warehouse.
• Distribute donations to their proper places as instructed.
• Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and take trash to the disposal area.
• Maintain good relationships with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Unload trucks at the Christmas warehouse.
• Assist with warehouse cleanup, layout, and setup.
• Promote warehouse safety and security.
• Assist with pickups from malls or corporations when necessary.
