About The Position

This is a seasonal Christmas position responsible for managing the Angel Tree Program. The role involves recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers to ensure sufficient staffing for Christmas program needs. The position also requires preparing records and reports for the Christmas program.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years experience working in an office environment or Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
• Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically
• Valid driver’s license

• Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Angel Tree Program
• Recruits, trains, and coordinates the work of volunteers ensuring ample staff to meet Christmas program needs
• Prepares records and reports for the Christmas program
• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program
• Maintains names of volunteers at the Christmas Distribution Center in a book to be kept current at all times
• Maintains the statistics, placement and follow-up for all Angels at all locations
• Contacts Corporate Sponsors on the number of angels they require, preparing materials and angels for delivery
• Provides accurate and complete information about Christmas Programs
