About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Anesthesiologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. Services shall be provided Sunday through Saturday, between the hours of 0000 to 2359 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 16-hour shift. Flexibility in hours is needed based upon the daily schedule of cases to support patient care. The position offers freedom from malpractice insurance worries.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain board certification in Anesthesiology from either the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
- Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- One year of experience required.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide Anesthesiology services.
- Be available for on-call duties with call back (average around 2 call backs per month).
Benefits
- Salary to be determined but Employee or 1099 status available in range of $200-250 hr
