About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Anesthesiologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. This role involves providing services Sunday through Saturday, between the hours of 0000 to 2359. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 16-hour shift, with flexibility needed based upon daily case schedules to support patient care. The position includes being on call with call back, averaging around 2 call backs per month. The company offers freedom from malpractice insurance worries. Salary is to be determined, with employee or 1099 status available in the range of $200-250 per hour.

Requirements

Possess and maintain board certification in Anesthesiology from either the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
One year of experience required.
BLS certification.
