About The Position
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position in El Paso, TX. This inpatient role involves providing clinical services and call coverage from June 1 to December 31, 2026. The schedule is Monday-Friday with 10-hour shifts, requiring coverage for 3 weeks per month. The facility has 5 ORs and uses the Cerner EMR system. The case mix includes adults across various specialties such as Regional, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, and Thoracic. While call is preferred, it is not required. Temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in TX
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Experience with Regional & General Anesthesia
- No cardiac & Peds experience required
Nice To Haves
- Peds experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia services for adult patients.
- Perform regional anesthesia procedures as required.
- Supervise CRNAs in a clinical setting, with occasional solo work.
- Manage complex cases including neurosurgical, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.
- Maintain clinical coverage for a minimum of 3 weeks per month.
