About The Position

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position to provide coverage in Omaha & Kearney, NE. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services and is needed for supplemental coverage on an ongoing basis. The position requires clinical duties plus call responsibilities. The facility performs approximately 3,600 annual surgeries. Support staff includes CRNA and Anesthesia Tech at Facility 1, with Anesthesia provider backup. Facility 1 handles a diverse case mix including Ortho, Labor & Delivery, Spine, GI, Gynecology, Urology, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases. Facility 2 focuses on General Anesthesia. The EMR system used is Epic.

Requirements

Active NE License or IMLC/Willing to obtain
Board Certified (BC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Fellowship completion
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days)

Responsibilities

Provide Anesthesiology services in an inpatient/outpatient setting.
Fulfill clinical duties and participate in call schedules.
Perform a variety of procedures including Ortho, Labor & Delivery, Spine, GI, Gynecology, Urology, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases.
Administer General Anesthesia as needed.
Collaborate with CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, and other Anesthesia providers.
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation.
