About The Position
Seeking an Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Council Bluffs, IA. This is an inpatient role covering supplemental needs on an ongoing basis. The position is call-only, with a schedule from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM. The facility handles approximately 3600 OP/IP surgeries annually and is supported by Anesthesia Techs and CRNAs. Cases include Ortho, L&D, Spine, GI, GYN, Urology, Cath Lab, Int Radiology, Bariatric Bypass, and Minimal Vascular. Cases are independent, and the EMR system is Epic.
Requirements
- Active IA License or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Clean record (highly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for inpatient surgeries.
- Manage call schedule from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM.
- Handle a case mix including Ortho, L&D, Spine, GI, GYN, Urology, Cath Lab, Int Radiology, Bariatric Bypass, and Minimal Vascular.
- Perform independent cases.
- Utilize Epic EMR system.
