About The Position
Anesthesiologist opening with fast-paced practice with OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in Rockford, IL. OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff team up to work in the fast-paced environment. Fast paced environment with great support staff and surgeons. Work 26 weeks per year with FT compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
