About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, is hiring a full-time anesthesiologist. The physician will join a collaborative team and help launch a new residency program through NorthStar's partnership with Marshall University, beginning in July 2027. The position is open to both new graduates and experienced physicians and offers a varied case mix at a Level II Trauma Center. Cases include regional anesthesia, trauma, and bread-and-butter cases, with exposure to nearly everything except transplants, obstetrics, and pediatrics. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to help build a new residency program. St. Mary's Medical Center has 393 beds and is among the largest healthcare facilities in West Virginia. It is described as the largest medical facility in Huntington and Cabell County's largest private employer, with more than 2,600 employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for regional, trauma, and bread-and-butter cases.
- Help launch and build a new residency program through the partnership with Marshall University.
