About The Position

NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join its team at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The practice has served Crestwood for more than 15 years and has an established anesthesia team. The 180-bed hospital has no trauma, cardiac, or pediatric cases. Clinical cases include bread-and-butter anesthesia, neuro, OB, orthopedics, and GI. There is no in-house call. First call is a 1:7 beeper-from-home rotation, with callback to the hospital for C-sections, emergency cases, and requests for procedural assistance from the night shift. Compensation is $464,400, with nine weeks of PTO, a $100,000 sign-on bonus for a three-year commitment, and an annual clinical retention bonus of $10,600. The position also includes a full health-benefit package, 401(k) with a match, and paid hospital meals. NorthStar Anesthesia was founded in 2004 by an anesthesiologist and CRNA. Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for cases including bread-and-butter, neuro, OB, orthopedic, and GI procedures.
Participate in a 1:7 first-call rotation from home.
Return to the hospital when called for C-sections, emergency cases, or night-shift requests for procedural assistance.
