About The Position
Covenant Medical Center is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join a stable, growing team of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs. The role offers the opportunity to perform cases independently, medically direct CRNAs, or combine both approaches. The work takes place at a Level 2 Trauma hospital with a fast-paced, high-acuity, and diverse case mix. Cardiac cases are handled by fellowship-trained physicians. The position offers an annual base salary of $575,000, eight weeks of PTO, a $100,000 sign-on bonus, and full benefits. Covenant Health System is the largest health system in West Texas and offers a broad range of medical specialties and health services. NorthStar Anesthesia, the anesthesia management company supporting the role, partners with more than 150 hospitals and surgery centers across more than 20 states and has more than 2,000 providers nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Perform anesthesia cases independently, medically direct CRNAs, or use a combination of both approaches.
- Provide anesthesia care across a diverse range of cases, including OB, GYN, endoscopy, ENT, general, major vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, and urology.
