About the position
As an Android Application Software Engineer at Faraday Future, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented individuals to develop a new generation Internet of Vehicle (IoV) system with a focus on user experience. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Digital Cockpit applications, such as Vehicle Control and HVAC UI, Head-Up Display, and Door Panel Display UI. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of software application engineering experience. Strong knowledge of Android platform, SDK, and emulator, as well as proficiency in Java programming, are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Digital Cockpit applications
- Develop Vehicle Control and HVAC UI on in-vehicle Displays
- Build Head-Up Display and Door Panel Display UI
- Provide an extreme in-vehicle user experience
- Collaborate with industry experts to develop a new generation Internet of Vehicle (IoV) system
- Work on Android Application development and Android Studio
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Android platform, SDK, and emulator
- Follow software development lifecycle and process
- Practice Java programming
- Be a dedicated team player and willing to take on challenging tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a software application engineer
- Hands-on experience in Android Application development and Android Studio
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Android platform, SDK, and emulator
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and process
- Good practice on Java programming
- Great team player, dedicated to the company, willing to take on challenging tasks
- MS degree in Computer Science (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of Android application and UI Framework development (preferred)
- Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design (preferred)
- Knowledge of development tools such as Jira, Gerrit, and Git (preferred)
- Proficiency in J (unspecified)
