About The Position

The Analytics Technical Product Management team is responsible for driving technical execution of analytics products and solutions through a relentless client-centric approach and through collaboration with our clients, our product, coverage, engineering, data and research teams. MSCI strengthens global markets by connecting participants across the financial ecosystem with a common language. Our research-based data, analytics and indexes, supported by advanced technology, set standards for global investors and help our clients understand risks and opportunities so they can make better decisions and unlock innovation. We serve asset managers and owners, private-market sponsors and investors, hedge funds, wealth managers, banks, insurers and corporates.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent work experience in finance, business, computer science or scientific fields.
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, technical program management, or related fields
  • Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies to reimagine and transform business processes, workflows, and client solutions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, specifically writing skills and formal presentation skills to technical and non-technical partners, and customers.
  • Experience working with clients, technical teams, and management to collect and translate customer/business needs into detailed product requirements and functional/technical specs.
  • Experience working on agile development teams and knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical delivery of Analytics programs by collaborating with data, research, engineering, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance.
  • Create program collateral, requirements specifications, and functional and technical designs in addition to ownership and prioritization of the program backlog.
  • Build and manage partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders across functions by effectively communicating program plans, progress towards business goals, and status through reports and steering committees based on business objectives.
  • Bring clarity to stakeholders to enable better decision-making and accountability on the program strategy to improve the customer experience. This includes aligning multiple internal business or development teams on operations and development.
