Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
  • Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027.
  • Analyst positions are in-person opportunities, requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the evaluation and analysis of risks to help determine appropriate coverage, terms, and pricing.
  • Reviewing underwriting submissions, financial information, loss history, exposure data, and other relevant materials.
  • Building relationships and communicating with brokers, clients, and internal business partners.
  • Assisting with the preparation of quotes, proposals, renewals, and other underwriting documentation.
  • Learning to apply underwriting guidelines, appetite, and risk selection strategies.
  • Partnering with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams such as Claims, Actuarial, Risk Engineering, and Analytics.
  • Using data and analytical tools to support underwriting decisions.
  • Developing knowledge of AIG’s products, industry trends, market conditions, and the specific business area in which they’re placed.
  • Supporting portfolio management and helping identify opportunities for profitable growth.
