About The Position

The Analyst Telecommunications supports Packaging Corporation of America’s current and future Unified Communications infrastructure as part of the Information Technology Systems department’s Unified Communications group. The role is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining the infrastructure, and provides 24x7 support.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Unified Communications administration.
• Familiarity with Local and Wide Area Networks.
• Familiarity with investigating and resolving first-level help desk service requests.
• Mastered basic keyboarding and editing skills.
• Strong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with plant and corporate personnel at all levels, as well as customers and vendors.
• Appropriate requirements for computer work processing.

Nice To Haves

• Information Technology Certificate or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Systems is strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of previous work experience in related Information Technology Systems areas is strongly preferred.
