About The Position

The Analyst, Technology Solutions supports the development, enhancement, and maintenance of post-NAV financial statement and regulatory reporting products and tools. Working from defined requirements and with guidance from more senior team members, the Analyst investigates issues, implements technical changes, tests development work, maintains documentation, and contributes to process improvement and automation. The role involves working with business users and technical colleagues, learning the team’s reporting products and technologies, and using AI tools and emerging technologies where appropriate with suitable oversight.

Requirements

• Relevant professional or educational experience with data-processing, reporting, automation, or development tools, demonstrating strong technical capability and ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience in programming, automation, or data processing.
• Experience with at least one programming language, or strong programming fundamentals and an ability to learn new technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
• Strong learning agility and interest in developing technical skills and working with new technologies.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, including confidence investigating unfamiliar issues, asking questions, and seeking guidance when needed.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues logically and work toward appropriate solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical colleagues and business users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, with relevant programming coursework or experience.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies and willingness to learn how to use them effectively and responsibly in development activities.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with VBA and Power Query.
• Experience within asset management, audit, hedge funds, fund administration, or another financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support post-NAV reporting products and tools based on defined requirements and guidance from senior team members.
• Investigate issues reported through the IT Ticketing System, understand the relevant processes and code, and implement appropriate solutions with support as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation using Excel, Power Query, VBA, Python, and other relevant development tools.
• Complete assigned development and support work to agreed requirements, communicate progress, and raise questions or blockers promptly.
• Test development changes according to established processes and ensure they are accurate and complete before senior review.
• Maintain technical, process, and user documentation for changes developed or supported.
• Work with senior team members and end users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical changes and solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and development reviews, applying feedback and established development standards.
• Communicate clearly with team members and end users while investigating issues, delivering changes, and providing support.
• Build technical knowledge through hands-on experience, training, and ongoing learning about the team’s technologies and reporting products.
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies where appropriate to support development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, with appropriate oversight and attention to accuracy.
