About The Position

MOSO Capital Advisory is a San Diego-based advisory firm that helps developers, owners, and investment sponsors raise capital for middle-market commercial real estate across the country. Its work includes senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, joint venture equity, development financing, acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalizations across asset types such as ground-up development, for-sale and rental housing, self-storage, and land development. The Analyst works directly with the founder and originator on assignments from initial deal review through closing. The role builds financial models, organizes deal information, prepares materials for lenders and investors, and helps keep transactions moving. Approximately 70–80% of the work is financial analysis and transaction support; the remaining 20–30% is CRM and pipeline upkeep, business development research, and process improvement. This is a hands-on role in a small entrepreneurial firm, with opportunities to help shape developing systems and take on varied responsibilities. The position is in-office in San Diego, California, and offers a $65,000–$75,000 base salary plus a performance-based quarterly bonus. Responsibilities include underwriting and financial analysis; market research and capital markets support; due diligence and closing coordination; business development research; CRM and pipeline maintenance; and improving internal templates, tracking tools, and workflows. The role requires professional interactions with clients, lenders, and partners, and may include attending networking events. The firm offers direct exposure to an experienced originator, varied asset classes and deal structures, and a potential path to a senior analyst position as the firm grows.
