About The Position

MOSO Capital Advisory is a San Diego-based advisory firm that helps developers, owners, and investment sponsors raise capital for middle-market commercial real estate nationwide. The firm works across senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, joint venture equity, development financing, acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalizations, with asset types including ground-up development, for-sale and rental housing, self-storage, and land development. The Analyst works directly with the founder and originator on assignments from initial deal review through closing. The role builds financial models, organizes deal information, prepares materials for lenders and investors, and helps keep transactions moving. Approximately 70–80% of the work is financial analysis and transaction support; the remaining 20–30% involves CRM and pipeline upkeep, business development research, and improving firm processes. This is a hands-on position in a small, entrepreneurial, in-office firm, with a flexible scope that includes communicating with people, pitching in as business needs arise, and occasionally attending networking events. The position is full-time and based in the San Diego office. Compensation is a $65,000–$75,000 base salary plus a performance-based quarterly bonus of up to 20% of base salary. A monthly health insurance stipend and flexible time off with advance notice, plus California paid sick leave, are offered. The firm provides direct access to an experienced originator and exposure to varied asset classes and deal structures. The role may develop into a senior analyst position or other opportunities as the firm grows, based on performance.
