About The Position

The Wholesale Credit Delivery - Corporate & Leveraged Finance - Analyst Program is designed for individuals who have completed a BA/BS degree and are scheduled to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027. This program is exclusively open to current Truist interns. It begins with an intensive seven-week classroom instruction period covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, and financial modeling. Following this training, Analysts join a business group to support senior investment banking professionals. Wholesale Credit Delivery (WCD) is responsible for underwriting and managing debt capital for Truist Securities' corporate clients. WCD teams collaborate with various banking and risk management professionals to deliver capital and strategic ideas. Post-transaction, they manage client credit relationships and monitor portfolio exposure. The program offers structured training in accounting, modeling, corporate finance, underwriting, and financial analysis, leading to placement within one of Truist Securities’ Industry Groups. Analysts will gain experience in debt analysis, financial and industry analysis, corporate finance, and underwriting, developing a comprehensive understanding of their client portfolios. The Wholesale Credit Delivery - Corporate & Leveraged Finance team analyzes companies' financial performance, evaluates industry trends, and assesses credit risks and mitigants. Analysts will perform cash flow analyses and underwrite credits to enhance their financial analysis skills. The program is typically two years, with a potential for an additional year. This position is for current 2026 Truist interns only.

Requirements

  • Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation date of December 2026 through June 2027
  • Overall GPA of 3.0
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must have been a 2026 summer intern

Responsibilities

  • Support senior investment banking professionals.
