About The Position

As an Analyst GIS Applications, you will support and enhance geospatial applications and database systems that enable exploration and mining activities across the organization. You will help ensure application functionality, security, and reliability while providing technical support, performing spatial analysis, and delivering valuable geospatial insights to business stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
Proficient supporting GIS, geospatial applications, or related technologies.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
Experience with mining and exploration applications such as Landfolio, ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Vulcan, Deswik, and core logging tools.
Understanding of ASP.NET, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, SQL, and Esri APIs.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Nice To Haves

English proficiency is required, and additional language skills such as Spanish, French, or Dutch are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of geospatial applications.
Assist with application configuration and customization to meet business requirements.
Execute testing and quality assurance activities to ensure system functionality and security.
