Analog Mixed Signal Firmware Engineer

About The Position
Apple is seeking a self-motivated, passionate electrical engineer to work as an AMS Firmware Engineer. The role is part of a hands-on development team building custom analog designs on leading-edge technology nodes to connect Apple products to the physical world and optimize their performance. The engineer will specify and design advanced mixed-signal circuits on the digital side and help with their verification and lab bring-up. The team emphasizes engineering excellence, creativity, innovation, and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mixed-signal concepts.
- Knowledge of RTL design.
- Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of front-end tools, including Verilog simulators, linters, and clock-domain crossing checkers.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or proven industrial experience or degree equivalent.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages; Perl and Python are pluses.
- Good knowledge of synthesis, static timing, and DFT.
- Good knowledge of SystemVerilog assertions, checkers, and other design verification techniques.
