About The Position
The Shift Supervisor provides frontline leadership and operational oversight of Healthcare Environmental Cleaning services and serves as the on-site management representative during assigned shifts. This is a non-union management role excluded from the bargaining unit and authorized to direct work, evaluate performance, and recommend personnel actions. The stated wage is $60,000–$70,000, and the position works the AM shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of healthcare EVS experience preferred.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise EVS personnel and assign daily work.
- Conduct shift briefings and coordinate staffing.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, infection prevention standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Oversee routine, discharge, terminal, and emergency cleaning activities.
- Respond to customer requests and operational issues.
- Support emergency operations and contingency response.
- Conduct inspections and corrective actions.
- Maintain reports, attendance records, and training documentation.
- Directly supervise custodians, floor technicians, leads, and special project teams.
- Evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions.
