About The Position

The AM Food Server works at Crust & Cork in the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront, providing guests with professional, efficient, and friendly service while keeping tables and chairs neat and orderly. The server should be able to describe menu items, including preparation methods and prices when needed, and work within company policy to accommodate guests’ special food requirements. Side work and other necessary duties are performed as assigned. On-the-job training is available for applicants with a stable job history.

The role offers part-time and full-time opportunities and requires schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays as needed. Compensation is a fixed base cash wage of $7.00 per hour plus customer tips, with expected combined hourly earnings of $17.00–$35.00. If combined cash wages and tips fall below Virginia’s stated minimum wage during a workweek, the employer will pay the difference.

Requirements

• A good attitude and strong work ethic to support operating efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Stable job history for applicants receiving on-the-job training.
